I Don't Think Lincoln Would Agree

"And that is why, in the shadow of the Old State Capitol, where Lincoln once called on a divided house to stand together, where common hopes and common dreams still, I stand before you today to announce my candidacy for President of the United States."
-- Barack Obama

Perhaps while voting on the Non-Binding Iraq Resolution Senator Obama will remember a famous Lincoln quote.

"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs who should be arrested, exiled or hanged."
--J. Michael Waller

One wonders if Mr. Obama is even aware of that quote. I would tend to doubt it, given that he went to Muslim school.

You and your pinhead friend Mark might like to know that the so-called "famous Lincoln quote" is a fabrication, as countless Web sites are reporting this morning. By the way, why aren't you and Mark serving in Iraq? Chickenhawks, right?
